XPS 8930, upgrade 256 SSD to 2TB SSD

I just purchased a WD 2TB SSD drive to replace the 256 that came with it oh so many years ago. I have Macrium Reflect to clone the original drive. Search the forum, I found lots of steps about changing BIOS settings but they are years old. Thought I would check for most updated process if it’s more than clone old to new and make sure it’s partioned correctly.

If you are just replacing boot drive with higher capacity SSD, besides expansion of C partition (fill space) there is no need to make change to other drive partitions or storage controller mode.  Remember to shutdown and replace the SSD when Macrium completes the cloning.
