XPS 8930, two, swapping SSD, data is missing

I have two dell xps 8930  computers.

The one at work (Banesa computer); the other at home (archive computer).

The one at work has work applications the one at home has Adobe CC applications.

I removed the SSD card from the work computer (Banesa files Paper Port app etc) and exchanged it for the one at home. I removed the SSD card from home computer (archive) put it aside. I then inserted the SSD card from Banesa's work computer. When I booted up there was nothing from the work computer (Banesa computer - a medical office computer) . 

What was there was the material from Archive computer. So to test what was unusual I removed that medical office Benasa SSD care (that showed my Archive Adobe assets) and replaced it with the Archive SSD card. Booted up and the exact same files showed up? It's as though both SSD cards are exact. 

One SSD card medical office should show only medical office files applications and so forth. 

The other SSD card should show only Archive Adobe files as that work on Archive computer was strictly for video editing. Thus one card was specific for Medical Office/ Banesa computer. The other was specific for Archive work. 

What I need to repeat if I switch out the SSD card I end up with all Archive files and assets. 

Don't know what to do - most unusual.
