XPS 8930, SATA SSD, do I need to uprate power supply?

I've had my XPS8930 desktop for five years now, dual-booted as a Windows/Linux setup.

I would like to add another hard drive to the system for processing astrophotos; this work requires a lot of disk space, so it would need to be at least 2TB. I was thinking of a solid-state drive.

At present the computer has Windows on the 512GB solid state drive; then a 1TB standard HDD with the Linux OS;, plus a 2TB standard HDD which is used mainly for just storage. I believe there is room for one more on the SATA connections.

The power supply is the original 460W one. I am also about to upgrade the memory to 32GB.

Not being well-versed in power supplies, I have to ask whether the current one could cope with the extra disk, if I went ahead and got one/fitted it.

I need to say that the photo processing work isn't going to be daily, or in huge amounts, but would just like to ensure the computer is set up properly to cope with it, because the processes can be a bit intensive.

The system has plenty of power to handle a new  SSD, which uses relatively little power.  No upgrade is needed.

@ejn63 Ah, that sounds good; no extra expenses there in that direction. With thanks.
