XPS 8930, RTX 2060 upgrade, PSU question?

Referencing this old thread = XPS 8930, GPU upgrade, GTX 1080 Ti? #3
The RTX 2060 upgrade requires 500 watts, 550 for the super version. Dell XPS 8930 comes with 460 watts which is not enough I have been told to run the video card.

The RTX 2060 is only 160w. A 460w PSU has that more than covered so long as it has the extra connection the RTX 2060 requires.
Mfrs. seem to inflate min. PSU requirements some to make sure all the bases are covered. For example, for a 30w GT 1030, the mfr. listed the PSU requirement at 300w. A 180w PSU will power it with enough left over for the rest of the PC including CPU, RAM, and DVD drive.
