XPS 8930, retail PSU does not include connector for optical drive
I have a Dell XPS 8930 with an optical drive. My original power supply failed, so I installed a Seasonic Core GTX-650 with modular cables. The Seasonic does not include a cable for the optical drive. I'm trying to buy a cable from Seasonic but do not know the name of the missing connector. The connector from the old power supply looks like a standard six-pin Sata data connector, but is straight. I found several possible names online -- slimlineSATA, slimSATA, miniSata, microSata. Anybody know the name?

You will need a Slimline SATA power adapter cable. It's for connecting 15-pin SATA power from power supply to 6-pin SATA power connector on the optical drive.

@Chino de Oro Thanks. After posting my question, I found a number of similar questions on Dell's site. Answers referred to adapters on Amazon. There, I found many, many reviews from people with the same problem. Some went back several years. This problem can't be unknown to Seasonic, the makers of my PSU. When I asked Seasonic for help, they sent me pictures of several cables I could buy. None of them appeared to solve my problem. Oh, well. The adapter I ordered will probably take care of it. Thanks, again.
