XPS 8930, need secure boot to enable TPM 2.0, GPU only works in legacy boot
I am trying to install a SSD drive and reinstall windows 11 onto it with a windows install USB drive, but it says my system can't install windows because tpm 2.0 is not available. I can enable TPM in the bios only after changing to secure boot, but then can't use the upgraded video card. With the GPU plugged in w secure boot enabled, I get dell logo with no way to boot or get into bios. I have to unplug the card, and use the onboard video to access.
I found a video in dell support that showed TPM info in device manager under security but I don't have it. I have an xps 8930 bought in 2018 and according to the same video anything after 2015 will have TPM
The video card is AMD Radeon RX 660 GPU, I can't imagine this isn't compatible and an AI internet search said it is compatible.
It's strange Im running windows 11 now with TPM not turned on. I wonder if I can just do everything in legacy boot through the on board video, reinstall windows onto the ssd card, etc, then when everything done, switch it back to legacy boot and plug the Radeon GPU back in and boot up. I'd like to avoid a workaround though, seems the card should work in secure boot.

If you install Windows 11 in UEFI mode (which is prerequisite to using secure boot), you cannot boot the ssd from legacy mode bios. But if you don’t mind losing TPM and turning off secure boot after Win 11 is installed so you can use old RX gpu that may be the way to go.

Thanks for the response. That's where I am at now. I have windows 11 installed now and when I installed the GPU originally the only way to get it to work was in Legacy Mode. So i'm running win 11 in legacy mode now with the new GPU installed, but can't reinstall win 11 on the ssd card without losing the new GPU.
