XPS 8930, heatsink touching CPU power connector, is this safe?
I installed the XPS heatsink and it seems to be touching the CPU power connector . See picture. Is this safe? It's not going to burn through cable or anything?!

It should be fine but if you are concerned, use a cable tie or two and pull it away from the heat sink.

@JOcean Ty! I will try some ties . What about maybe a small piece of heat resistant tape on the bottom of the heatsink , where it touches the CPU connector? KR OZ

@Ozzzies679 That may help as anything that insulates it from the heat sink is a plus though the heat sink should not get that warm. I am more concerned about the sink eventually rubbing through the wires over time.
