XPS 8920, upgrade CPU for Win11 compatibility
I have an XPS 8920, <personal info removed>, with an Intel i7-7700 CPU. Can this processor be replaced with another CPU which would allow the PC to be Windows 11 compatible?

you need to have Intel 8th gen or higher cpu for Win 11. 8920 top cpu is Intel 7th gen cpu so unfortunately just missing the official threshold. you can still install Win 11 in 8920 after bypassing cpu check requirement.

So I can’t buy another processor that’s compatible and have it installed? I have to buy another computer , is that correct?
