XPS 8910, power button not fully functional
The power button used to light up white when computer was powered on. The computer still starts when I press the power button, but there is no longer a white LED. I do see an amber LED light up for a second when I press the power button, but it goes off immediately, and no white light appears. You can't really tell if PC is on from looking at the chassis. So I guess there is more than 1 LED in the button, and the white one stopped working. I assume changing the power button would fix this, but since the button does turn the PC on, and does light up amber for a second when pressed, might the issue be something else? Should I replace the power button or is there something else I should check first?

I guess there is one LED, but it doesn't show white anymore.

It might be a loose or faulty power button LED cable/module J2PX2. Try disconnecting and reconnecting it on the motherboard.
If the button itself, you would have to find the entire front bezel, N968V.

Am afraid that the power button may not be simply the connection issue as an amber LED did light up. Instead of replacing the power button first, I would replace the coin cell battery with a new CR2032 and clear the CMOS using jumper. Then, review the article below for troubleshooting.
