Hi
Lots more details please.
Make Model OS even the age of the system.
A picture of it fitted in situ may help.

@Jaronsh When you say it will not boot, do you mean it will not boot into Windows or that the system will not POST at all? And did you install Windows on the new drive? If so did you disconnect the old drive before booting into the new drive? And then reconnect the old drive after you power down.

I'm guessing the BIOS is NOT set to AHCI, but instead, the default of RAID... so it sees the 2 SSD's as one and they are NOT set for that.
What to do if you have NOT made the change:
Press the Windows Key ⊞ + R, type msconfig in the run box and press Enter. Click on the Boot tab and check the option to enable Safe Boot, then click on OK. Restart your computer and enter the system BIOS by pressing F2 during boot. In the MAIN section of the system BIOS, select SATA Mode and switch to AHCI.
Then exit the BIOS and boot and it will boot into REAL MODE as before.
Alternatively, you can also do it this way:
Run
cmdas administrator (not PowerShell, you would have to escape{...})Copy-paste this command, which will start Windows in Safe Mode the next time you reboot:
Restart the computer and enter UEFI/BIOS setup.
Change the SATA operation mode from RAID to AHCI.
Save changes and exit Setup and Windows will automatically boot to Safe Mode.
Launch
cmdagain, as in step #1.Copy-paste this command, which will start Windows in Normal Mode the next time you reboot:
Reboot and Windows will automatically start with AHCI drivers enabled.

@Jaronsh If the system is dead then something changed when you were working on it. Check all of the cables and connections as it is possible something is loose or has been disconnected by accident. Did you have to move or disconnect any cables during the upgrade?

@JOcean I tried everything while it was off like changing cables and then I took out the nvme and it worked fine again

@Jaronsh,
Uhh, this is not an SSD problem per se... REMOVE the one you added, possible bad one or somehow created a short.
Look at the back and see if there is a sequence on the LED on the PSU or even the POWER BUTTON.

Actually I appreciate the help guys but I think I will be getting a new motherboard not due to this issue just due to wanting to upgrade cpu to Ryzen 7, so I think I’ll take that route and wipe everything but I would like some help on how to get this error screen off for now and be able to access the pc

@Jaronsh
You posted a bunch of messages, with very little data. Only 'real' data was "PTE misuse" BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death), and that doesn't match when you said " the pc and the pc will show no signs of life at all, it won’t even turn on".
That BSOD should have more data on it, some code, which could be important.
Look at this Subject on this site, https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/xps-desktops/xps-8900-needs-reboots-pte-misuse-bsod/647f7e9cf4ccf8a8ded100a4 and how that user fixed it.
Wondering if a Gen4 is not able to be set into the XPS either?
With it out you get the BSOD or with it in?
Whenever you get an error, full detail of what you see would help, and for a BSOD, if you have a camera or phone, take a picture and post it. That will always help.

@ispalten well yes I was getting BSOD so I turned PTT off in my bios and it fixed it but whenever I installed that little nvme no signs of life were showing, nothing would turn on, no monitor, no light on the pc, anything. So yeah not completely sure, I tried the cmos jumper, I tried the pc start up with the screwdriver on the prongs inside but nothing really worked but yeah. Maybe I’ll have to retry what the top guy, but this time it shouldn’t blue screen me
