XPS 8900, VGA / PCI card?

Is it possible to fit a VGA (socket) PCI card to the XPS 8900 desktop please?

I am having issues with both the current DVI and HDMI sockets / graphics card.

Thank you.

No. There are no PCI slots on the motherboard. You can see from the online XPS 8900 User's Guide page 16 that the motherboard only has one blue slot dedicated to a video card, the PCIe x16 slot.

Care to explain your video problem?  Does PC have video output when you boot? Check the PC's power button's color and if steady or blinking. Count the blinks..

What version of Windows?

Is monitor connected to an add-in video card or to the onboard Intel Graphics HDMI port?  If you have an add-in video card, the monitor should be connected there.

Can you test this monitor on a different PC or different monitor on this PC?

Have you run the diagnostics? Assuming you have any video output, reboot and tap F12 when you see the Dell splash screen. Select the option to run diagnostics and run the video tests, for starters....
