Well, not easily done. Dell uses proprietary cases. However, check this subject out, https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/xps-desktops/xps-8700-windows-11-other-dell-motherboard/647f98bbf4ccf8a8debe3fa7?msockid=3b94aade9d9e6dfb30e8bf1a9cc96c48

Cost might be better put to a new PC, which is what I did in 2020. Suggest stay on W10 until it goes out of support. Maybe there would be some sales then as a lot of people will be wanting new computers.

Although it is not officially support, I have installed Windows 11 24H2 on XPS 8700 with similar specs and it is running well without any issue.  If you run into issue, use Rufus bypass when create USB installer.

Also, installed Win 11 24H2 on an XPS 8500 but I had to use bypass for unsupported hardware.  It's also running well and is receiving all updates from Microsoft.
