XPS 730x, how to switch to Advanced Mode in AlienFx?

XPS 730(X) 

I had always used basic mode to edit 5 zones of color.  I simply cannot find in menu an option to change to advanced mode.

this bugs me. After thinking for some time, it occurs to me this may be the solution:

delete the existing theme. 
the theme is hidden under

user>Dell>local>Appdata>AlienFx>AlienFxeditor or something like that

Appdata is by default hidden 

have to select “shown hidden file” 

after deleting existing theme 1

open AlienFx again, now it says cannot find a theme 

and then it offers two options:

basic 

advanced

now I can enter advanced mode

In this mode the led color can switch to a new color depending on application
