Studio XPS 8100 Windows XP (64 bit) driver

this oldie can run Windows 11 but terribly slow.  I have it run with a legacy i5 600 cpu that has integrated graphics.  trouble is Dell only wrote Windows 7 driver for 8100, no XP, no vista.

I want to install XP on this to run old games.  

the hunt for driver is a project.

8100 chipset is H57

I searched for H57 XP 64 bit driver, found ASUS and Gigabyte.  The Gigabyte driver seems simpler and I tried it.

Windows XP 64 bit.  before I can run the Gigabyte Intel graphics driver, it asks for Dot NET 3.0 or above.  I installed 3.5.  then the driver installs smoothly.  In dev mgr it is calleds "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD".

Note this driver cannot be easily found by searching for HD graphics, as the search result only applies to Intel 2nd or 3rd gen.  The 1st gen was a bridge between core 2 duo's Intel Graphics Media Accelerator and the later true HD graphics of Intel 2nd gen on.
