Simple Question - What's the equivalent to XPS Desktop in 2025?
I'm lost with all the renaming and can't find a simple FAQ. I've understood the XPS brand for years but now I'm faced with weird names like Max Ultra Pro or whatever.
Just tell me in simple terms, what name should I be looking for if I want an XPS desktop in 2025. In other words, what's the successor to the Dell XPS 8960 desktop?

The Pro Max line is more likely of the Precision configurations.

The Pro Max line is the successor to the XPS in most respects. The other alternative would be Alienware.

Glad to help out. Also, take first note that it's cheaper to upgrade PSU at the purchase configurations rather than waiting for post sale upgrade. Second note, although the top graphics card may not be available at purchase point, the EBT2250 is validated to support RTX 4090. See owner's manual for specifications.
