Need more SATA ports
I have XPS 8940 i7 and run out of SATA port to add HDD/SSD drives. How can I add more SATA ports? Thanks

Look for a PCIe card on Amazon. There is a BEYIMEI 8 port PCIe SATA card and they are some people indicating that it works with the Dell XPS 8940. Good Luck !!

The Dell proprietary sata power connected to motherboard has only three standard sata power connectors and a mini sata power connector for optical drive. do you plan to use sata power splitter to power more than 3 drives?
