how to boot from non-UEFI DVD
Want to run a Kapersky Rescue DVD, but it appears to not be a UEFI bootable disc. How do I make this happen?

On some systems, you can enable legacy mode to do this. On newer systems without legacy mode, that's not an option - you will need to prepare a new boot disc (or better, flash drive) with UEFI support.

Hi
You can write the Kaspersky Rescue Disk image on a USB drive or a DVD at least 1 GB in size.
You can use a special application to create a bootable USB drive. We recommend using Rufus or Win32 Disk Imager.
Rufus allows writing an image in the following modes:
It is a 2024 dated iso and therefore the A/V signatures may be too old.
There are other rescue disks available, like RescueZilla.
