DOA (denial of access) of Dell part number search engine
Dell part number search engine has shut down
“No parts list is available at this time...”
someone or some bug had shut it down

That is a nice one. I wish it could search by desktop model number as keyword.
follow up update: issue resolved 2 weeks later.

What was the external link you were using? Yesterday there were several internal sites down. But they are working today.

It is the link/ site that asks for service tag (and you/mods asked me not to post), although in the past I used the link a lot to retrieve DP/N without need for service tag. It is still down now. I wonder how that site accesses Dell part database. It would be very helpful to find an alternate working search engine based on Dell desktop/laptop model number.
