Dell xps discrete graphics card cable
Hello 😀,
I am not tech savy and need some help. I moved house and lost the little cable that the hdmi cable connected to. I cannot see anything on the monitor.
I did some research on the dell website which suggest I had a discrete graphics card and needed a cable to plug into this port. I got one of Amazon but still nothing on the screen.
Not sure if I bought the correct one!! I got a display port to hdmi adapter 4k 60 hz dp to hdmi converter??

Are you trying to connect from the PCIe video card on the back side slot? What card is it by the way.
Prior to the move, you had an HDMI cable that ran to the Monitor (what is the Monitor), correct?
So if that is the case, you need an HDMI cable, like this:
A converter for Display port is not what you need.
Check is your card and monitor both accept the above ends.
