Can I replace the stock 8940 wifi M.2 with an Intel AX210NGW M.2?
Control Panel says I have a 201NGW.Anyone swap this with a 210NGW successfully? I searched the forum and couldn't find anything.

AX201 is a CNVio2 card which contains only the signal and radio frequency. It has to rely on supported CPU and chipset for functioning.
AX210 on the other hand, is a PCIe card and can function independently. It's a Wifi 6E card and is backward compatible with Wifi 6 technology.
While an E-key won't fit M.2 slot with A-key, an A/E-key card will fit both type of M.2 slot.
The main concern is 6E spectrum may not be supported by Dell firmware. But that was not the question. OP just want to know if it can be swapped.
