8940 Owner's, anyone try BIOS V2.18.1?
Interested if you have had any problems?
Did it solve the Lock up/Freeze problem if you had it?
Did you try the new Nvidia drivers posted at the same time or using Nvidia posted drivers?

I downloaded a new graphics driver the other day and have had black screens twice since then. So now I just ininstalled and reinstalled the graphics drivers, and downloaded the version V2.18.1 BIOs, but I just had everything freeze (no black screen this time, but not holding my breath that it won't happen again).

I have tried the new Nvidia drivers, and they by themselves do not work.
My Dell Update is not showing the newest BIOS version yet so have not tried that yet, but I do not have much faith.
If the new BIOS and new drivers do not work, luckily, I still have the NVIDIA drivers that do not cause freezes.
Dell is such a bad company - never buying a PC from them again.

I have 2.18.1 with the latest Nvidia drivers not having a single issue. been rock-solid now and tbh I like it. But the Dell replacement board came with it already installed so I didn't have to update it...
