Z9os7 reboots when user logs in.
Z9os7 reboots when user logs in.
I have 140 Thin Clients deployed and everything had been working great up til the other day. I get about 10 units that when the users login in the morning it gives the memory is full error and reboots. This can happen three times in a row before they are in. Now everyone else is working fine. I have the write filter on and the only things installed on WES7 is the VMview client 5.0 and a watered down landersk agent. There is no scanning by the agent, I disabled that. The RAM disk is set to 512mg. I have not been able to duplicate this in my site. Also there is a local scheduled task that runs at 11:59pm everynight that reboots the terminals. I am pretty new to this and any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Steve,
Setting the RAMDisk to 512Mb may be a little high. Consider that you only have 2GB of RAM which is shared between the OS, Video and the RAMDisk. If your application runs out of memory, you will get the message "Memory Full" that your clients are seeing.
Recommendation: Drop your RAMDisk to 256 for the users having the problem and see if this alleviates the problem.
