D90d7 connection issues

We are using a number of D90d7 wyse for telecommuters connecting thru xendesktop to a virtual machine. We are see a large number of associates reporting that the wyse are losing connection a message pops up and then trys to reconnect to the VM. the associates are all of the place each on a different ISP. anyone know if there are certain Broadband/DSL modems that tend to not play nice with the wyse? The associates personal computers never appear to loose connection during the outage that the wyse experiences.

I know the nic on the wyse are set to auto detect vs 100/full like a typical pc would be. I know that the image on the wyse is created in house vs what came on the wyse.
