CAPS LOCK out of sync with RDP Session
Hi
We are currently rolling out Wyse Z90 1st generation and 2nd Generation boxes to over 600 users who are connecting via RDP to Windows Server 2008 R2, a few users are complaining that their caps lock key is out of sync, their keyboard is showing it being off and they are typing in caps, they press the caps lock key and the light on their keyboard comes on and they are typing in lower case.
We have done the following to try and sort this problem.
Changed the keyboard
Changed the Wyse box from a 1st generation to a 2nd generation.
Checked that they are using the most up to date image from Wyse
Checked the servers are upto date in regards to patch levels.
I have been searching on the internet for days now and the only problems i can see relate to Windows CE and/or Windows Server 2000/2003
Has anyone else come across this problem?

I know this is really old, but try this solution. Unplug the keyboard, from the thin client, with the caps lock light on. Plug it into a standard desktop. Turn the caps lock light off. Plug it back into the thin client. Issue should be fixed. It fixed it for us.
