Wyse WT9450XE factory reset
Wyse WT9450XE factory reset
I have a WT9450XE that I need to do a factory reset on. I can still log into the XPe OS under user and admin. I have tried creating a USB firmware pusher via the oldest USB Firmware Tool and when trying to boot from it, I receive "Remove Media and restart PC."
I was told to have the boot to USB-ZIP option first in the boot order in the BIOS to make it boot from USB drives. Is that correct? Do I need a legacy USB Firmware tool or legacy WDM to flash this bad boy?

Dr.Bob,
The USB Firmware Tools has never been tested with the WT9450XE. In those days, the imaging utility was called WSI and it can be found, with documentation, at www.wyse.com/downloads under the RETIRED section.
