Wyse thin client questions
Wyse thin client questions
Hi All,
ive inherited a wyse thin client environment which is a mixture of R90LEW and C90LEW connecting to XenApp 6 farm.
Now i have users who are getting extreme slowness/lag when accessing the citrix farm and im wondering if you can help me rule out a few things?
now im new to wyse thin clients so you might have to point me in the right direction but how can i see if the thin clients are having network issues? I've turned on logging to the system event logs but it really doesn't give me much information.
Now I've been reading that if you add the "EthernetSpeed=100M FD" as a manual flag this can resolve the slowness but i cannot find where t add this setting. and if i do add this settings will the thin clients have to restart?

any help here guys would be very grateful as i no experience with thin clients.
thanks

The soluition provided by Citrix is in reference to Wyse ThinOS devices, not for Windows-based systems. You may want to look at the firmware installed on your clients and compare it with the current release available for your devices at www.wyse.com/downloads
