WYSE C90LE not saving IE setting changes
WYSE C90LE not saving IE setting changes
I have a WYSE C90LE XPe that I have freshly re-imaged and have joined to our domain.
I would like this terminal to auto-login with a domain account and open a browser page on our company intranet site.
I have been unable to get any sort of browser change to save when I make it under this domain account. I need to add the site to the Local Intranet security settings in IE then just want to save a link to the site on the desktop. I have the write filter off, but none of these changes will stick after a reboot or logging on with a different account. Is there some other security settings I need to turn off? I have went as far as to make the user account I am using a domain admin and still have no luck.

If add a different account, you may want to take a look at the netxclean.ini file. NetXClean keeps extraneous information from being stored in flash memory. NetXClean clean-up is triggered by either a service startup or a user log-off. It runs in the background
and performs the clean-up invisibly and no user input is necessary.
The configuration information regarding users to clean up and other info is kept on the netxclean.ini file, which is commented so no documentation is required, however if you need more information on this utility, you may want to go to take a look in the Admin Guide at www.wyse.com/manuals and search for the "XPE Documentation" or "WES7 documentation" (not case sensitive)
