Wireless LAN card not appearing in Device Manager
Wireless LAN card not appearing in Device Manager
I have a Wyse C90LEW that was working fine until recently. I swapped it with another and have renamed it so there won't be a conlfict on the network. It will connect to the network fine via the hard wired LAN connection.
However, the wireless LAN card is not present in Device Manager.
I have reinstalled it manually numerous times and it shows up but never works.
I get a "Device Can't Be Started code 10." error.
I have deleted the following files: C:\WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\rt2870.sys
C:\WINDOWS\System32\RaColInst.dat
C:\WINDOWS\System32\RaColInst.dll
I copied and replaced them from a working client and the wireless device never works even after a reboot. It is still in Device Manager.
I have compared all of the services running/not running with a working client and they are identical.
After I reinstall the Wireless LAN and push the desired image to the client the wireless LAN is gone from Device Manager. The image is fine because I pushed it to another client and it's fine.

I also have a problem with my unit. Every now and then its wifi connection automatically turns off or being disabled (but the icon is on) then i have to restart my unit to work again. Any idea about this? Thanks
