cannot boot from USB Flash Drive V90LE
cannot boot from USB Flash Drive V90LE
Hello all,
I have been trying to boot to a USB Flash Drive (SanDisk Cruzer 4G) to copy the image off of the stock 512MB Memory Card to so that I can install a 2GB Memory Card. However I cannot get the system to detect the USB Flash Drive. I think that I may have to update the BIOS first (no USB-HDD0 option), so here are the steps that I followed thus far.
1. BIOS is set to boot USB-ZIP as primary
2. Add-In cards are set to Option 1 under Hard Drive Options.
3. Created USB Flash using WYSE USB Firmware Tool.
4. Downloaded 9V92_S625_512 from the WYSE site
5. Selected to update BIOS when creating the USB Boot Drive
6. Selected the 9V92_S625_512.rsp file as prompted.
7. inserted the USB Drive into the rear I/O port on the V90LE
8. powered on the system.
What happened next was just a blinking cursor at the top left of the screen. And nothing else. The USB Drive's light would steadily get brighter then dimmer as the same intervals. But after 15 minutes nothing has happened.
Any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mike (OuRuKai)
