Adobe Acrobat Reader
Adobe Acrobat Reader
I need to install Acrobat reader on a few R90LEW's, but when I tried to run the MSI I received an error message stating that there was not enough space on the drive. There is over 1 GB free on the drive. Any ideas what the installation procedure for this is?
Thanks,
-J

Jay,
you can go to www.wyse.com/kband search on "third party" and you will get instructions on how to install third party apps on thin clients to avoid this problems. The other thing you may want to consider is a liter client available from Foxit Software.

J:
When they give you the space error, it specifically refers to the amount of space needed in your Z: drive (or however you have it named). In your control panel, there is an option called Ramdisk. For adobe reader 8.2 or 9.4, this needed to be set to 40+ for me. You can always turn down the setting after installs. Resetting Ramdisk size will require a reboot.
