Wyse Management Server 3.8 Standard as an Azure VM

Hello,

I've got a few Wyse 5470 AIO/Mobile thin clients on the test bench working on a POC. I've got an Azure VM w/WMS 3.8. I can register the clients with WMS, but MQTT notifications weren't working. It is looking for the machine name and not the domain name of the WMS server. I've got the xxx.xxx.cloudapp.azure.com host name for WMS and seems to be working fine but MQTT and the repository both are trying to reach the machine name.

I can't see anywhere in WMS Standard to change either URL. I went through the config files on one of the thin clients and found the MQTT entry, i changed it to the host name and MQTT started working. I could get screenshots and pull down log files from the thin client as it should. I tried to deploy a program to the thin client and it fails. Logs show its trying to reach the machine name. I don't see anywhere to manage that or if it can.

I found one entry about changing it, but it's rather vague and short on details. I see entries about repository changes, but i think that is only in the Pro version if i have multiple repository entries. From the blog post, it sounds like Azure VM will work with WMS standard, does anyone have any hints what i am missing?

many thanks.
