Wyse 5070 Windows IOT LTS defender updates
Hello,
we have >200 Dell Wyse 5070 and are installing the latest Windows 10 LTS 10.04.XX.05.22.00
According to the documentation in
https://dl.dell.com/manuals/common/wyse-7020_release-notes2_en-us.pdf
defender should automatically update signatures, but this does not work on our clients.
Can anyone help us?
Greetings
Andreas

the following worked for me:
disable uwf
set 'system environment variables' of Temp and TMP to C:\windows\Temp
run CMD as admin and run: "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" "-SignatureUpdate"
set 'system environment variables' of Temp and TMP to Z:\
enable UWF

Read the doc guys, it says you need to update the definitions from Windows Defender Console. That means not from windows Update.
