Win10 RSP File - Pulling Image

I just purchased and received 26 new Wyse 5070 devices. I want to take an image of one for backup purposes. I configured a USB drive via the Dell Wyse USB Imaging Tool version 3.2.0.0. I boot the Wyse device to it and tell it to pull the image of the device. It pulls the image with no issue. Once complete I boot to the USB drive and the image is visible and I can select it. When I select it to restore and hit ok it reboots right away and goes back into the OS. When I look at the .RSP file within the USB drive, which is named WIN10_Wyse_5070_Thin_Client_64GB_0.rsp, the file is 0 KB. I open the file with Notepad++ and there is no data at all in the file. I have a Wyse Win7 USB drive for my older devices and the RSP file is 5kb and has data in the file.

Anyone know why the RSP file is not creating correctly? Any way around this to get it to work correctly? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Two items to check:

  1. Update BIOS to v1.2.4
  2. Make sure that you have selected 64-bit OS when the USB is configured. Merlin will not pull OS image files if the wrong system architecture was selected.

It is also possible that the OS Image pull failed due to insufficient USB size. Make sure you are using at least a 128 GB USB drive for a full 64 GB image. You can reduce the OS size using Disk Management (recommended) to a much smaller size than pull the image.
