Thin Clients not Checking In to WMS
All my Thin Clients seem to be working fine now and they are all assigned to the correct group and pulling all the correct settings, etc. However, when I login to the WMS portal, it shows 6 of my 9 Thin Clients Last Check-In was about 3 weeks ago. Any idea why the Thin Clients would not check-in? I have also rebooted all the Thin Clients and also the Server where I have WMS installed, still not updating the check-in. Screenshot is attached.

Try this:
Edit c:\program files\wyse\wda\config\CCMProtocolConfig.xml
Bottom part, make sure to delete content for the following TAGS, only showing the following:
Also, the should show the devices MAC address.
Save the file and reboot. Watch that the TC shows up in WMS.

Good question!
I investigated/researched a lot, had multiple calls with Dell, involving different departments, and never got an answer or clue what was causing this. I had to do this on a little less than 100 Wyse TCs, and in the last 6 months we may have had one, two, maybe three TCs not registering.
So, what ever it was or is, it certainly has tapered down.
I know this doesn't help, sorry...

This resolve the issue for me. Unfortunately, I have 63 more to do...
How does this happen and how can I prevent it from happening again?
