I can guide you through deleting desktop shortcuts on a Dell Wyse Thin Client and exiting an RDP session on a Dell Client.

Deleting Desktop Shortcuts on Dell Wyse Thin Client:

  1. Navigate to the Desktop: If you're not already on the desktop, minimize any open windows or applications until you see your desktop icons.

  2. Select the Shortcut: Locate the shortcut icon you want to delete on the desktop.

  3. Right-click on the Shortcut: Hover your mouse pointer over the shortcut icon, right-click on it, and a context menu should appear.

  4. Choose "Delete": In the context menu, select the "Delete" option. You may be asked to confirm the deletion. Click "Yes" or "OK" to confirm.

  5. Shortcut Deleted: The shortcut should now be deleted from your desktop.

Exiting an RDP Session on Dell Client:

If you're using a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) session on a Dell Client and want to exit without logging out, follow these steps:

  1. Minimize Full-Screen Mode: If your RDP session is in full-screen mode, move your mouse cursor to the top of the screen. This should reveal the toolbar.

  2. Access the Toolbar: On the toolbar at the top of the screen, you'll find a button to minimize the session or exit full-screen mode. It often looks like a square or a rectangle.

  3. Minimize or Exit: Click on the square/rectangle button to either minimize the session or exit full-screen mode, depending on your preference.

  4. Access Local Desktop: Once you've minimized or exited the full-screen mode, you should see your local desktop.

  5. Close RDP Session: To completely exit the RDP session, go to the RDP window, and click the "X" button in the upper-right corner. This will close the RDP session, but it won't log you out of the local session.

By following these steps, you should be able to delete desktop shortcuts on your Dell Wyse Thin Client and exit an RDP session on your Dell Client without logging out of the local session.
