we tested it and it would still crash. One thing we noticed is that if we touch the screen while at the Wyse OS (before it connects through RDP to the windows session) it won't crash. But if we do not touch the screen at the Wyse OS and we wait to touch the screen until the RDP session is loaded, then it does crash.
I've also tested:
Device=audio DPAudio=no
no success.
Device=vusb InterfaceRedirect=yes
no success.
We are waiting on Dell to provide another solution. We suspect a firmware update will solve this.

I suggest you open a support ticket and get them to analyze the crash dump file.

We submitted a support ticket and they suggested adding this line:
Device=vusb ForceRedirect=0x04e7,0x0027,0x03,0x00,0x00,fast
we tested it and it would still crash. One thing we noticed is that if we touch the screen while at the Wyse OS (before it connects through RDP to the windows session) it won't crash. I am seeing this same issue. Did you end up finding a fix? Thanks

Are you using the latest firmware for the 3040?
If you are using 8.6_412 and still getting the Trap error, open a support case and provide the dump file to engineering for review and recommendation.

We ran into this; it was a USB speaker causing this error. Unplug all USB devices and see if that clears the error.
