Wyse 3040 ThinOS RDP issue after June patch update
We have 10 Wyse 3040 models on WTOS 8.6_013 firmware connected via a Windows Server 2012R2 RD Gateway server to a Windows Server 2012R2 RDSH Broker finally to a Windows Server 2016 RDS farm.
We patched the 06-2019 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows Server 2012R2 KB4503276
Since the patching of our RD Gateway servers, these Wyse boxes cannot authenticate via the RD Gateway server to reach the RDSH broker and RDS servers.
we've force the thinclient to connect througt another gatwayserver that has not the patch yet.
The June Microsoft security update broke the RD Gateway server.
any solution?

I have seen many reports of this. Contact support and get a ticket going so you can provide traces to be provided to development for engineering a fix. Only support can provide a timeline for a fix and resolution.

We have the same issue, since updating RD Gateway Server (Windows Server 2012 R2) in June, with KB4503276. Any News on this topic?

Also facing the same issues with 3030 LTs as well as 3040.
I see that Dell has released a FW update to 8.6_024 but I don't have a test/devel environment to test if it resolves the problem.
Anyone have a RDS Test lab they can attempt in?

Thanks Lawrence. While their environment is 2016, the issues are the same and I don't think there'd be a difference between 2012 and 2016 where RDS is concerned.
Thanks for the info!

If support would acknowledge the issue without forcing me to jump through hoops and provide them debug logs that'd be super helpful.
While you're not wrong, if you're aware something maybe share them details
Tell us a case log or reference article that Dell acknowledges this issue

Hello Friends!
Well, I got Dell to kinda acknowledge the issue. Unfortunately, they said the new firmware likely won't be public until mid-August.
In the meantime, I've disabled updates on my ingress RDG to prevent the patches from further breaking Wyse Auth.

ThinOS firmware version 8.6_027 has been posted and contains the following fix
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/in/en/inbsd1/wyse-3040-thin-client/thinos_8.6.x_rn/fixed-issues?guid=guid-bb88ece7-832b-48c0-aa0a-24d772ef7dda&lang=en-us
Resolved an issue where ThinOS cannot connect to an RDS Gateway after applying the latest NTLM security patch.
