WMS 2.1 Webservice Access
Hello again
i have an question to WMS 2.1 version and ThinOS9.
We have ugraded our WMS to 2.1 and all is fine. in one of my last posts we had issues with ThinOS9 but most off them are fixed and clear.
Now i have an additional issue which seams to be the biggest for us:D
we use some kind of external tools and powershell scripts to create ini-files to our thinclients.
as i read in the documentation there is no longer support for winos.ini and user.ini.
how can we handle this? any ideas?
we need to create autologins and new devices with our tools if possible.
What to say ist that we use the free license for managent.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Thorsten

With ThinOS 9 you can create User policies (page 90 of the admin guide, https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/wyse-wms_administrator-guide10_en-us.pdf)
With ThinOS 8 you can use variables for username to create individual login for autologin.
There is currently no automation or API for WMS to allow 3'rd party tools to integrate and automate. You will need to adjust your processes for WMS.
I hope this helps.
