ThinOS 9.1 and Savi 8200

Anyone else using a Savi 8200 headset on ThinOS 9.1?  This is a wireless headset with a base connected via USB.  We can't get the mic in the headset to work.  The audio recording test in System Setup, Peripherals, Audio doesn't work.  When you press the record button with the Savi selected nothing happens.  However the playback of audio to the headset works fine.  Using a Savi 7xx, which is another wireless headset with a USB connected base, works fine for the test both for recording and playback.  You click the button and it records audio until you click stop, then plays it back when you click play.  A simple wired headset plugged into the headset jack on the thin client also works fine.  So it's only the mic in the 8200 I can't get to work.
