ThinOS 9 & 10 2502 released

• Dell ThinOS 9.6 2502 (build 9.6.1080) is now available for download from Dell.com/support (select your client device and then ThinOS PCOIP operating system).

• A new build (10.0058) for ThinOS 10 v2502 has been posted to Dell E-Support to address some omissions in the initial release on January 30^th.

ThinOS 9 Firmware has been updated to version 2502 which enhances the user experience as follows:

o  On-Screen Keyboard support is now available with ThinOS 9. This new feature improves the user experience when using mobile and AiO platforms with touch capabilities or desktop offerings attached to a touch monitor.

o  Wyse Management Suite has been expanded to include additional Device network information including SSID and EAP type. This enhancement improves the remote management experience by providing client administrators the needed information they require to secure their environments and troubleshoot connection issues.  

o  Imprivata OneSign ProveID Embedded has been enhanced to support USB redirection for greater peripheral device control. This functionality in past releases was limited to ProveID Web.

• Citrix Workspace Application package has been updated to version 2411 (build 24.11.0.85.113).  This new Citrix agent enhances the user experience by providing additional functionality including support for the Citrix Desktop View Toolbar and the ability to switch between Citrix Workspace Window and Native modes.

• Microsoft AVD package has been updated to version 3.1 (build 3.1.3044).  This release includes RDP Shortpath updates to optimize the user experience on high latency networks.
• VMware Horizon package has been updated to version 2406 (build 2406.8.13.0.47).  This package release has been enhanced to provide users additional USB peripheral device controls though the addition of a Horizon USB Redirection Control Menu. 
• Zoom Universal package has been updated to version 6.2.10 (build 6.2.10.25600.2).  This release enhances the user collaboration experience when using Zoom by adding a “what is new link” and improving audio quality and controls.

ThinOS 10 v2502 (build 10.0058) Enhancements:

• Microsoft Teams call quality improvements when using Citrix Workspace App – addressed call quality issues related to echo cancellation.
• Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop session reliability improvements – eliminated a condition that could result in session disconnects.  
• Firefox browser audio reliability improvements – applied fix to ensure browser audio continues to function after performing a reset to defaults operation.
• Cisco Webex App call quality improvements – addressed call quality issues related to echo cancellation.  
• Zoom Universal for VDI updates – ThinOS 10 is now certified with Zoom Universal for VDI version 6.2.11.25670.64.  Please refer to the partner’s website for specific information pertaining to feature enhancements and improvements.
• Wireless Telemetry Updates – added wireless telemetry data for use with remote monitoring tools. This will aid IT Admis in the isolation of network related issues.
