The new minimum system requirements exclude my entire fleet of Thin Clients.  ThinOS 10 requires at least 32GB storage and 8GB of RAM.  Not to mention the Latitude 3280 Mobile Thin Client is conveniently missing from the supported platforms list.

What model are your thin clients?

I do not see any history of a Latitude 3280 offered as a Mobile thin client?

My apologies, I typed the wrong model number.  The Latitude 3420 is the one "conveniently missing from the support platforms list".  Most of my thin clients are Wyse 5070s with 16GB eMMC chips and only 4GB of RAM.  But I also have some 5470 MTC and 5470 AIO devices, and the newest model I have is the red-headed stepchild that we all love dearly; the Latitude 3420.  Apparently, Dell might be contesting paternity on that one.

You are correct the 3420 was not in scope for the initial release of ThinOS 10, but support will be released soon for it.  Contact your Dell sales team for more specifics.

The 5070's with 4/16 do not meet the hardware requirements for ThinOS10 as it is a next-generation OS, it has next-generation HW requirements.  Keep in mind the 5070 also reaches End of Feature support (no further OS updates) this month.

" Apparently, Dell might be contesting paternity on that one.", thanks for the chuckle.   Just a bit delayed getting the ThinOS 10 release for it.

Keep in mind that for supported devices, ThinOS 9 updates will continue while ThinOS 10 matures.

Thanks for the clarification.  I'm glad to hear that the Latitude 3420 will receive the update soon.  Since you mentioned it, I looked and found this doc for the Support Lifecycle for the Dell Thin Clients: Dell Thin Client Solutions and thin client OS Lifecycle Information

Good to know my devices all reach EoFS this year.

Yes that document is key to understanding and forecasting the lifespan of your devices, and what the various stages of the lifecycles mean.

I guess it's time to remove the "Thin" prefix to ThinOS...

We have a lot of Dell 5470 AiO that have 16gb flash and 4gb ram. If we add another 4gb ram and a nvme drive we can get thinos 10 to work on a handful, the others just fail. Any suggestions on how we can get the 5470 aio to work on thinos 10 if it won't work by just adding the nvme and extra ram?

Thanks
