ThinOS 10 floatbar no longer rehides
Upon upgrading a Optiplex 3000 Thinclient to ThinOS 10 the floatbar, once summoned by pressing the windows key. will no longer hide itself.
This is at the login prompt. It just stays there now until someone logs in.

Hello,
I have been working to reproduce this to get feedback to engineering. I see the same behavior on ThinOS 9 2505. Sitting at the login screen, press windows key on keyboard, float bar pops up, let it sit there, it does not go away (even after pressing windows key).
What would be the desired behavior?
How did it behave in a previous build?
Did you do any testing under ThinOS9?

Yes, this worked great in ThinOS 9.
The desired behavior is that once the bar has appeared, and is done with, it either times out and disappears again, or by clicking away from the floatbar (i.e. the login window) the bar would disappear again.

Hmm. I cant reproduce the desired behavior on T9, 2505. Can you?
Sitting at login screen, press windows key (floatbar pops up). Either let sit idle, or click back to login box and the floatbar stays.

Which bios are you using? What are your floatbar settings?
The ThinOS 9 we had this working in was 2303 (9.4.1141)
Our floatbar settings are:

2303? That is going back a ways.
I am testing 2505 and BIOS 1.26
I don't imagine this is a BIOS issue, but a change in ThinOS.
I went through all of the release notes from 2303> 2505 and did not see any explicit statement of changed behavior.
Let me see if I can get some feedback.

If it's not working in 2505, then that would be why we stayed 2303.

I am able to reproduce this under 2303 as the behavior you desire, but not as you desire under 2505 (T9 and T10).
Have you opened any support cases on this? I suggest you get a case opened so engineering can get the feedback and they can tell you if it was done on purpose or is a bug.

@tclark77 The behaviour is if there's a login already done into a VDI, the floatbar will autohide.
Without a login both ThinOS 9 and ThinOS 10 would behave the same.

If a support ticket is already open, would check with development team on the same.
