Screen Focus Issue After Upgrading from ThinOS 8.6 to 9.1.2101

Our EMR is now having screen focus issues on our AIOs after upgrading from ThinOS 8.6 (various sub versions) to ThinOS 9.1.2101.

Our Dell Wyse 5470 AIOs still running 8.6 do not have the screen focus issue. We also have some older 5040s running 8.6 that do not have the focus issue either.

When our EMR's 4th popup window appears on top, users cannot type into the field unless they click the icon for that popup in the toolbar.

Our 5470s are also on the latest Citrix Workspace App, version 21.4.0.11.1.

Both AIO models are point to the same WMS server running 3.2.1.

I can provide more detail, but was just throwing out feelers.

I also opened a case with Dell and provided videos with and without the issue.

We're currently work with Dell engineering on the issue and have decided to roll back to the latest version of 8.6.

Are you experiencing the issue as well?

Thanks @skisalomon77 for the quick response.

Yes, we see a similar issue after migrating from ThinOS 8.x.

Our issues in 9.1 make the application unusable to our users. I mean, you can use it, but you'll get extremely frustrated. If you're experiencing the same, rollback to 8.6 for now. I would also suggest opening a support case as well so this gets more traction. I really found it hard to believe we were the only organization experiencing the issue, so I was happy to read your post. To downgrade, you'll need to use the Dell Wyse USB Imaging Tool and do each thin client one at a time because WMS doesn't support the downgrade. We're actively engaged with Dell and just gave them access to our test environment and WMS console so they can do their own due diligence. It's definitely a ThinOS and/or Citrix Workspace issue within 9.1 because we built an Ubuntu server, installed CWA for Linux, and did not experience the issues at all. I'll definitely post meaningful updates in this thread as they come in.

Hi @skisalomon77
Hope you are well.
Any progress with this issue after working with Wyse support?

Hi daviddrum, we're still actively engaged with Dell support. They gave us some beta code and newer releases to test, but that didn't help at all. My administrator is currently setting up a call with the Dell team. We've been working with support for over a year on this with no resolution, so it's quite frustrating at this point.
