Reset password

Hey yall! I am an after school counselor with a background in IT. I recently purchase four

Wyse 5030 Zero Client (VMWare) / P25 off of eBay I don’t really have much experience or knowledge of think clients.

Basically, here’s the situation! I purchased these devices off of eBay for a project for the after school program I work at and welp….. all the devices are registered to a university. I thought it was a little odd so I reached out to the university explaining what happened and they agreed to let me keep the devices. The real problem is now that I can’t do anything with them. They said that due to the age of the devices and personnel changes they cannot reset the password on them. I also guess they can’t remove them from their domain since they are halfway across the country. 

Any advice of how I can reset these devices? I tried a G-Key reset but it just pulls up the login screen. I’m assuming this function was disabled….?
