[RDP] disconnect: 44, Unknown error

Hi,

We are getting this error when connecting to Windows Server 2019 (and 2016) RDS, when using virtual desktops. This is from Wyse 3040's, using ThinOS 9.1.5067 on BIOS 1.2.5 . Microsoft AVD is 1.5.1325 .

I have been able to use session based RDS from ThinOS 9.1 as an experiment, but we want to use virtual desktop based.

I have tried just about every combination of setting, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere. It is affecting multiple 3040's, so not restricted to 1 client. The same servers do work when we use ThinOS 8.6, without this issue.

On the server itself, in the event log I see this: 'The disconnect reason is 1032', which I'm struggling to find information for. I thought it may be linked to RemoteFX, which I have done my best to disable on the server.

Any help would be appreciated.

Getting the same. Has anyone helped you with this or answered your question?

Just for clarification, I am getting the following:

Then this:

Which I found out meant: "The specified computer name contains invalid characters. Please verify the name and try again."

No, unfortunately not. We are still using 8.6 in the meantime. The computer name definitely does not contain invalid characters, so it's a bit of a puzzle.
