RDP Connection are double
Hello everybody,
my scenario:
we used the wyse device manager v 4.8.5 on a windows server 2008R2
To migrate the thin clients to the new Windows Server 2019 with a wyse management suite, but a "hybrid" version because we use a vnos file for the clients to get the informations. In this file we have rdp connections like this:
CONNECT=RDP \
Host=host*************\
Description="*****name******" \
Icon=rdp.png \
Reconnect=no \
Colors=32k \
Fullscreen=yes \
Rdp_No_Animation=yes \
Rdp_No_Fontsmoothing=no \
Rdp_No_Wallpaper=yes \
Resolution=default \
Domainname=cpnet \
UnmapPrinters=yes \
Smartcards=yes \
username=$UN \
LocalCopy=no \
UnmapClipboard=no
The problem is, that the icons are double and that confused our users:
if i delete 1 rdp connection in the vnos file, both icons disappear.
Have anyone an idea to fix this?
The OS Versions are (old 8.1_027 and new 8.5_025) on both version is this problem.
Thanks in advice!
best regards

You mention "Hybrid" deployment with INI files and WMS.
It sounds as if the device is getting duplicate configurations from somewhere.
Are you pushing any configurations from WMS? Can you document those?
If you factory reset the device do you still see double of everything?

thanks for you comment @buffalobound ,
no configurations are pushing from WMS. An upgrade from 8.1 to 8.5 fixed this problem. i dont know how but it works.
