Is ThinOS 9.3 compatible with intune policies on AVD?
I'm using Dell wyse 3040 running ThinOS 9.3.1160 with AVD client plug-in 1.8.x
We have a new client, who has an AVD network. AVD works fine on mac and on windows PC.
According to Dell this should work, but i'm having issues.
The thin client authenticates with Azure AD, then prompts again, then announces it needs to secure the device and then throws up a "you need to install intune, and suggests opening in edge!" and progresses no further.
Is there a way around this? I assume its an Azure policy, I was interested if anyone else has had this issue and how they resolved it.
my thoughts are;
- Is this possibly fixed in the 9.3.22xx build (which I can't get to install!)
- Is there an alternative broker URL to tell azure it isn't a windows 10 device!
- Do we need to modify the policy for these devices to by-pass intune (i dont really want to ask my client to lower their security)
- Do i need to use windows 10 IOT ! is there a build somewhere for 3040 - i imagine we're low on space for this to be simple.
- Is there any alternative software I could consider in place of ThinOS 9.3?
Appreciate any help.
