Error: Peer's certificate or fingerprint wasn't verified fine.

I'm setting up a test environment for WYSE thin clients in advance of deploying them. I have WMS set up and am using it to configure my test 5070. After entering the details of my RDS Connection Broker I got an error on attempting login that the AVD wasn't installed. I installed that package and now I get "Peer's certificate or fingerprint wasn't verified fine." Google has absolutely nothing on this error so I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting. I tried downgrading the AVD package on a guess and that didn't help.

My sysmgr.log shows these lines every time I click LOGIN on the thin client:

2023-04-14T14:37:42.854Z:[INFO] [rdp exec] stderr: wvd: /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by wvd)

2023-04-14T14:37:43.511Z:[INFO] rdp exit code: 1, signal: null
2023-04-14T14:37:43.515Z:[ERROR] [vdimgr] doLogon error => Error: Peer's certificate or fingerprint wasn't verified fine.
2023-04-14T14:37:43.531Z:[INFO] wms: receives message: REQ_VDI_ERR

Have you loaded the Certificate chain used by the broker to the device via policy?

Can you offer any guidance or pointers to where to find some? We're coming from an array of Wyse 5010 (D10D) thin clients that have never had to worry about the certificates. The latest firmware does throw up a warning, but we're able to ignore it.
