Downgrade Wyse Thin OS 8.6_024 to 8.6_013

Question

Hi All,

I have recently upgrade the Wyse Thin OS 8.6_013 to 8.6_024. The Citrix Win 7 VDI users are having freezing issues. So, I need to revert back to Thin OS 8.6_013. How can I downgrade this device easily?

Should I install Wyse Thin OS 8.6_013 image itself again or is there any other easy way to downgrade the thin client device?

Your help and guidance will be highly appreciated.

In the Firmware settings of WMS, just select the firmware version you want to auto-deploy. If 8.6_013 was your default firmware from the factory, just download that version from Dell, upload to Apps & Data --> ThinOS in WMS, and now you'll be able to select the firmware version you want to auto-deploy.

I just came across this post and am curious if this is still an issue (Freezing?) in a Citrix environment?   Also curious if you are using 7.15 CU3 for your Xendesktop VDI client?

After downgrading to 8.6_013 from 8.6_024, freezing issue has been random.  Currently, we are using Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7.15 CU1. Has any one upgraded to 8.6_027 and noticed any issues?
