Disable Citrix desktop viewer toolbar in ThinOS 9

Question

Is there any way to hide or disable the Citrix desktop viewer tool bar in ThinOS 9? It didn't exist in previous versions of ThinOS and it breaks our security model which was predicated on users not being able to get back to the ThinOS desktop after a session was launched. Also, I know it sounds ridiculous, but we have some users who will complain about the little black tab that's always present at the top of their screens.

At this time I do not believe there is a way to disable this in the Citrix Workspace App for Linux that ThinOS 9 leverages. I believe it is being investigated for a future enhancement.

For now, you can leverage Citrix Storefront to disable it for a particular store, and point ThinOS 9 to that store.

The solution that @buffalobound proposed was working for a while but as of the release of the latest version of ThinOS 9 and the associated Citrix Workspace package, the settings that I changed on my Storefront servers appear to be ignored and I am able to see the toolbar again. Does anyone know why this is and how to get the previous behavior back?

Since my last post I installed the latest version of the Wyse Management Suite, including the latest 'Configuration UI package' on my WMS server. I noticed that there is now an option to disable the desktop viewer tool bar. Toggling this setting allowed me to hide the tool bar again.
